  • I have an old PB computer that has WFW 3.11 I want to upgrade to Win 95, which I had on before, prior to reformatting. But I do not have the origanal CD for Win 95 that I upgraded with. I do own a copy of Win 95 but not an upgrade version. I tried to load this and get as far as this message. "Warning SUO168, Your computer already has an OS installed, which cannot be upgraded by this version of setup. Please obtain the Windows 95 upgrade." Is there any way to get past this point. I thought i had read somewhere about renaming a "win" file in 3.11 so it appears as no current operating system. Any help would be appreciated.

    2. Thank you very much Steven. That suggestion worked and I now have W95 loaded. Thanks again.
