Microsoft MS DOS/95/98/me: ME and the Internet

  • Since installing ME I have this strange fault. When I try to access the internet sometimes things are normal, the explorer page opens, the access number is dialled and all is ok. At other times(no particular pattern), the explorer page opens but the access number is not dialled for up to three minutes. I have installed ME on both my computers and the same thing happens in both. Has anyone got any ideas ??

    1. Not sure but have you installed the updates for ME?

    3. Tom, I really don't know that much about ME but from what I have read that would be about the best place to start. ME looks like it has some problems which I think the updates address.
