Microsoft IIS Development: Acexception: Access denied

I have an FileManager app, when I try to upload files to the directory says ...
exception: Access to the path "c:\inetpub\wwwroot\filemanager\images\file.jpg" is denied.
How can I allow access to the directory!
btw: I am using VS.NET and Win XP SP1

1. most likely this is an issue with NTFS permissions, which can be set through Windows Explorer if you have simple file sharing turned off. it's all very well explained in the Windows Help docs.
